Objavljeni su nominirani za Golden Joystick Awards 2025. Tradicionalna londonska manifestacija svake godine slavi najbolje iz svijeta videoigara, a ovoga puta donosi više od dvadeset kategorija, od kojih o 22 odlučuje publika glasovanjem.

Nominacije za 21 kategoriju najavljene su 3. listopada 2025. godine, a glasovanje traje do 31. listopada 2025. godine. Potom se početkom studenoga održava zasebno glasovanje za Ultimate Game of the Year, dok će još tri priznanja – Streamers’ Choice, Breakthrough i Critics’ Choice – odabrati stručni žiri i objaviti na samoj dodjeli.

Najviše nominacija ima ovogodišnji RPG hit Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 i to za najbolju priču, najbolji vizualni dizajn, studio godine, najbolji soundtrack, najbolje glavno glumačko ostvarenje(Jennifer English – Maelle), najbolje sporedno glumačko ostvarenje (Ben Starr – Verso).

Konkurencija je jaka u svakoj kategoriji, pa će biti zanimljivo vidjeti tko će odnijeti najviše trofeja. Zanimljivo, igra nije nominirana u kategorijama najbolja igra na konzolama niti najbolja PC igra godine. Vrlo je vjerojatno da će Expedition 33 biti nominirana za Ultimate Game of the Year jer, podsjetimo, prošle je godine Black Myth: Wukong također preskočila dvije velike platformske kategorije, no kasnije je ušla u izbor za Ultimate Game of the Year i na kraju pobijedila.
